1. Data Products: The United States Department of agriculture government provides data products found at https://www.ers.usda.gov/data-products.aspx.  This has data till 2015 and predictions for 2016 and 2017 for various categories. The following particular data sets were analyzed for 2012 (to be consistent with year in the agricultural dataset)

2. Agriculture Census Report (2012): The United States Department of agriculture also provides a census of agriculture in the United States every 5 years. It has state wise data of different agriculture produce which includes, but is not limited to crops farming and livestock farming.
